Home Sales are UP and Interest Rates are DOWN!
April marks Williamson County's seventh consecutive month with a positive increase in the number of homes sold as reported by Williamson County Association of Realtors. The number of single-family residential closings increased by almost fifty (50) percent compared to April 2009.
Mortgage rates are at a record low according to the Bankrate.com national survey of large lenders. 30 year fixed rates are at 4.92% and 15 year rates are at 4.34%. Turmoil and uncertainty abroad is believed to be what is keeping rates low.
As of 6/1/2010, Nolensville has 181 single family Homes on the market plus 42 ready to close with 36 homes having sold in the past 30 days. (Realtracs Solutions)
Nationally, home prices are now at the same level they were in the Spring of 2003. (Bankrate.com)
NOW really is a great time to buy!
