Home Sales are UP and Interest Rates are DOWN!
April marks Williamson County's seventh consecutive month with a positive increase in the number of homes sold as reported by Williamson County Association of Realtors. The number of single-family residential closings increased by almost fifty (50) percent compared to April 2009.

Mortgage rates rose to 5.08 percent last week from 4.99 percent a week earlier, pushing the average interest rate offered on 30-year fixed-rate mortgages to its highest level since the first week of 2010, according to Freddie Mac.

Here are three good reasons why now is a great time to buy a home.
- Nolensville currently has 203 single family homes on the market from which to choose (Year to date 41 Nolensville homes have sold)
- The Expanded First-time Homebuyer's Federal Tax Credit is still available. The contract has to be in place by April 30, 2010.
- Mortgage interest rates are low (but expected to rise)
Mortgage Rates Are Under 5% Freddie Mac reported that mortgage rates remained under the 5 percent mark for the second consecutive week, with the average interest on a 30-year fixed loan at 4.95 percent.
