Give Back Saturday July 24 in the HistoricDistrict 1 Month, 2 Weeks ago
Nolensville Historic District merchants are having a fun day this Saturday with sales, refreshments, pets to adopt and music on the porch of the Homeplace Bed and Breakfast beginning at 11 AM.
They are asking for donations of pet food to replace that lost at the county facility during the flood.

Ebenezer United Methodist Church will hold Taste of Ebenezer from
11 AM to 3 PM. Come hungry.
You've got to eat somewhere, and there's no better or larger variety of food or nicer folks for miles around.

The Nolensville Historical Society will be there with historical journals for sale.
Better hurry if you want them; some are out of print and others are in short supply.

We will have fliers to the Encores and More Consignment Sale behind Barnes and Noble in Cool Springs. This sale has EVERYTHING, new and gently used.
Our specially marked fliers turned in with purchases next Thursday
will earn a 10% commission for the NHS to use towards repairs to the old, old school/Rec Center to make it our Community Center.
Fliers can also be obtained Mon.-Sat. from Village Antiques and Gifts in the historic district.
Don't forget; next Thursday is the day to save money at the sale AND effortlessly donate to a great cause.

The Historical Society will also be selling attractive fruit designed NHS $5 Kroger Gift Cards for our cost--$5.
Each time you go to ANY Krogers, simply preload these cards before purchasing groceries, gas, prescriptions and gas.
Once a month, Krogers will pay NHS 4% of all money pre-loaded onto NHS special gift cards.

Example: When you preload $200, you have just donated $8 towards repairs and operation of
Nolensville's Community Center without costing you a penny.
Do that 3 times a month for a year and you've donated $144!
If only 100 people only preload $100 only one week, we'd receive $400.00.

Multiply that times 6 months and by every household that will benefit from a Nolensville Community Center. WOW!
The Center could reopen by Spring for so many activities, AND have a steady
source of monthly income for operations. WOW!
That will cut down on the cost of the activities held there so its a win-win for everyone.

All you do is shop at Krogers and remember to pay first.
Cards are a good way to budget and track spending too.

This is an ongoing promotion with no time limit. Percentage is given for prepaying the card, not paying with it, so buy and preload some for gifts. Buy several to resell to anyone you know who would like to help, but may be short of donation funds.

Historical Society Vice President Michelle Jenkins is in charge of this promotion.
You can reach her at 405-5451.

Watch the Dispatch and this Community News website to find out how our fundraising
and reopening are progressing.

If everyone who reads this tells only 10 people who only tell 10 people....
Forget it; I'm getting dizzy from all the multiplying.
